Giap is a committed and meticulous advocate who further strengthens
the TIC legal team. A "TIC home-grown product", Seng
Giap received his legal education at the University of Bristol
in the United Kingdom, during which time Seng Giap had first joined
TIC as an intern during his summer holidays. Upon returning to
Singapore, Seng Giap also obtained a Graduate Diploma in Singapore
Law from the National University of Singapore and, upon completion
of his pupillage at TIC, was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor
of the Supreme Court of Singapore. Seng Giap practices with the
firm's litigation department.
During his time with the firm, Seng Giap was exposed to the wide
variety of cases that the firm's litigation department typically
handles. He assisted with research and preparation work for civil,
criminal and matrimonial cases, as well as drafting representations
and mitigation pleas for criminal cases. His work has also included
drafting commercial contracts as well as research and preparation
for mergers and acquisitions.
