Sivalingkam is a graduate of the University of London and practices
with Tito Isaac & Co LLP’s Insurance Law Department.
He consults on a range of insurance-related cases, including:
Personal injury claims, workman’s compensation and life
policy disputes. He also advises underwriters on policy conditions.
A particular specialty of his is complex or fraudulent motor claims.
Prior to joining TIC, Keru headed the “Direct Settlement
with Motor Workshops Department” at a major insurer. During
his decade of service, he regularly advised the insurer on claim
issues and assisted with fraud cases, including a notable case
in which the insurer won a favourable judgment before the Court
of Appeal.
Through his management of such fraudulent claims, Keru saved his
employer hundreds of thousands of dollars and even won the CEO’s
award in recognition of his efforts.
Since
joining TIC, Keru has been an asset to the Insurance Law Department
and our clients have benefited from his solid experience and industry
knowledge.
Beyond
the office, Keru has long been a volunteer reaching out to the
less privileged in the community.
